Praying Through Disasters

Every day when we listen to the news we hear of disasters It seem to be happening more frequently, and at times seem very close to home. Most of us have not been through a major disaster. 

God wants us to be alert watchmen who know how to pray for cities and nations. As we do, it’s important for us to realize that we don’t have to fear what is happening in the world. God does not want us to be shaken by the nightly news. The Bible says repeatedly that God is our refuge. We can pray through disasters with Him as our refuge. The word“refuge” in Webster’s Dictionary means, “that which shelters or protects from danger, distress or calamity, a stronghold which protects by its strength or a sanctuary which secures safety by its sacredness, any place inaccessible to an enemy.”

David knew how to hide in God’s presence. That’s what He wants us to do. Picture a baby bird hiding under its parent’s feathers. Psalm 57:1 is the picture of us sheltered under the shadow of God’s wings. Take a moment and read Psalm 46, and begin to experience the comfort of what David is saying.

God’s invitation is for us to enter into urgent watchfulness. How can we help disaster victims and war-torn nations through our prayers and our lives? In looking closer to home, how can we ourselves learn to trust God as our refuge during times of disaster? We read in Psalm 5:11-12:

“But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them that those who love your name may rejoice in you. For surely, O Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.” 

How to Prepare and Pray Through Disasters

• Face disasters victoriously -Don’t be overwhelmed or lose your faith in God if a disaster hits your city. Realize that He is greater than any disaster and will work it out for good. Pray for disaster victims to stand strong in faith in God. 
• Trust God in the midst of disasters and worldwide shaking -This is the time for the Church to arise and shine. This is a time to show others the peace of God through our lives by living out Psalm 46. Pray this for churches and nations facing disasters.
• Grow deeper in your relationship with God now - Strengthen your prayer life and learn to be still, cultivating God’s presence in your life daily. Pray Psalm 46 for your life and others in your city or in disaster and war-torn areas.

Pray for the salvation of souls and share your faith - During disasters and times of difficulties, people are open to the Gospel. They need hope, and you have the hope of eternal life. God is the refuge that everyone needs. This is our greatest opportunity for reaching souls.

What the Bible Says About Animals

Let’s take a look at the scriptures that relate to animals and what is said of them.

Ecclesiastes 3:18-21: “As for humans, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals. Surely the fate of human beings is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath (literally “spirit“); humans have no advantage over animals. Everything is meaningless. All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return. Who knows if the human spirit rises upward and if the spirit of the animal goes down into the earth?"

Job 12:10 “In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath (literally “spirit") of all mankind."

Genesis 9:9-10 “I now establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after you  and with every living creature that was with you—the birds, the livestock and all the wild animals, all those that came out of the ark with you—every living creature on earth."

Hosea 2:18 “In that day I will make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, the birds in the sky and the creatures that move along the ground. Bow and sword and battle will abolish from the land, so that all may lie down in safety."

Animals in Heaven

The Bible indicates that animals will exist after His return and the beginning of the Kingdom as Isaiah 11:6-9 reads, “The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them. The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. The infant will play near the cobra’s den, the young child will put its hand into the viper’s nest. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea." Here is the Word of God declaring that animals will still exist in the future, after Christ’s reign begins. Ecclesiastes mentions that there is a “spirit" in man but also in animals in (3:19, 21) but this does not necessarily mean that it is an eternal spirit.

Upon examining the scriptures we just don’t have biblical support to say this with certainty whether or not our pets will be in heaven, however it does appear that animals will exist in the Kingdom of heaven (Isaiah 11:6-9). If our pets will be resurrected or not, we just cannot say for sure. A more important question is if you, the reader, will be in heaven. It is pointless to ponder the question of whether your pet goes to heaven if you yourself are not there. The only way to be sure is to make certain you can go there. Decide today to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and have the full assurance that you will go to heaven and receive eternal life. As for your pets being in heaven or not, the only way to find out is to go there yourself. That is my prayer for you.

Do not afraid to be that person

That person who stands for what is right, that person who refuses to go along just to get along, that person who puts the truth out there, especially when the majority of people would rather listen to and believe lies. If we truly desire to be used by God, we cannot do what "everyone else" is doing. We cannot take the same path that "everyone else" is taking. Be THAT person. 

Read Daniel Chapter 3, Matt 7:13,14.

Life Span Statistics

Dear ladies when i read the bible in my mind continuously rise questions.are you the same one like me?today lets discuss about life span of humans.

1.Why were life spans of people living in biblical times so much long then than they are today? What has changed? Why did people in the Old Testament live for hundreds of years?

2.Why do people living today live much shorter life spans than in the days in which the Bible was written?

The first few humans recorded in the Bible, in particular the Old Testament, lived an exceedingly long number of years.if  you read the bible you will know about their lifespans.There is a pattern that shows up. Progressively, each generation lived shorter and shorter lives.

Perhaps the first generations of humans lived such long lives because they were so close to the god.

When sin came to the life it changed somany things in human life.and the continuing sin through the generations had a cumulative effect. By the time Abraham was born, the life spans had shrunk considerably.

Even though Abraham lived to 175 years, Moses lived only 120 years. The effects of the fall of man, which happened in the Garden of Eden, had an effect. The creation had fallen with the fall of man. God cursed the land after Adam and Eve sinned. No longer would the environment be perfect. Even nature itself would be feeling the effects of sin.

Then god said to adam in genesis 3:17 "Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you".

So here is part of the reason. The ground became difficult to work. Thorns and thistles were found in the earth and man had to work hard to produce food. The fall also may have produced disease and sickness since the ground was now cursed.

By the time the Psalms were being written, the lifespan of mankind had shrunk closer to what they are today, as testified in Psalm 90:10, “The length of our days is seventy years–or eighty, if we have the strength; yet their span is but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away."

Sin Shortens Life

It is no surprise that today there are more drug and alcohol addictions and abuse than ever before. These sins are known to shorten a person’s life. We know that drinking in excess and drug abuse (being illegal) destroy brain cells, the liver, and other muscular and neurological systems. These sins cause a person’s life to be take away in a more rapid sense that the average.

How to Have the Longest Life There is only one true way to have the longest life span of all. That is to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. He gives to those who believe in Him eternal life (John 3:16). This means that a person will live forever.

And always obay our lord's commands and fallow him.what god tells throgh the holy spirit try to listen and do what he says.and knowing his purpose in our life is very important.

The best part is that this grace from God is free. You simply have to believe that Jesus Christ is the One and Only way to the Father inHeaven (Acts 4:12). If you believe in the Son of God, you will never, ever die again. And that is the longest life possible. I pray you will accept this eternal life today.

When You Find the Person God has selecte for You

Ladies and Gentlemen, I just want to tell you this; there isn’t a fairy tale out there that can compare to the one God has for you.

Right now if you are in a season of waiting, cherish it.Many people see waiting as wasting, but God sees waiting as preparation.He is also preparing that person for you. And when the time comes He will bring you both together to love and cherish each other, and to serve Him.Our job is to take delight in Him and place our lives in His precious hands.

When you find the right person they won’t be like other men or women of this world. The person God has for you is special, unique, and someone to be cherished. There will be no denying when a God brings that person into your life.You will know he/she is the one because of the deep, spiritual connection that draws you to them.

God is taking care of you. Your job is to serve and wait.Glean the field just as Ruth did.The best things take time. But the process is going to be worth the wait when that time comes.

God is the glue that will hold you both together. So when you find the right person, remember to always keep God that the center of your heart and marriage. Keeping God in his rightful place is the key to a long, happy, and lasting marriage.

Pray together, serve together, and fall in love with each other every single day.

You do not walk alone, and soon your paths will intertwine. And when that day comes, you will look back and thank God for His faithfulness to you as you begin a new chapter in your life.

Women in this world

To the girl who feels unloved and insecured

Dear folks today i want to discuss about problems facing women in this world.

I am an indian girl and as indian girl i saw somany indian middle class and poor family girls facing problems of sex discrimination,illiteracy,female infanticide,dowry system.

Not only in india everywhere in this world women facing these problems.

Mostly in the indian society giving birth to a girl child or born as a women can be said the women was curse.in some places people still believe in child marriages.

In psalm 127:3-5

"Children are a heritage from the lord,offspring a reward from him"

God did not tell that only baby boys are a heritage from god.god said children are a heritage from god.then why people think women or girl child is a curse?

Another problem sexual herrasment at homes,streets,public places,offices,by the family members,neighbors,relatives.

But god said in matthew 5:28

"But i say to you that everyone who looks at a women with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart"

Many girls in this world lead their lives insecure and fears.

But dear ladies now its time to be strong in christ.and be confident to achieve goals because you are loved by our maker,the king of kings.

He sees the hurt you have been through and every tear you have cried.the tears you have sown are going to reap somthing beautiful.he collects each tear in a bottle.he loves u somuch.

I am that girl my whole life i searched for love i never felt that girl i was good enough for anyone.when everyone else left me,he lifted me up.he reminded me his mercies are new every morning.

Trust in lord you can rest assured that god will never leave or forsake you.

Let his love sweep you over.
